Cowboy Potatoes
Ingredients
1qt. milk
10 brown potatoes unpeeled, well washed, sliced 1/8″ thick
2 large brown onions, chopped
8 cloves garlic, chopped
2 lbs. ham, diced
1/2 C. flour
3 C. cheddar cheese, grated
salt and pepper
Cooking Instructions
In a large casserole dish layer potatoes, onion, ham , and garlic. Lightly sprinkle with flour, barely covering these ingredients. Add a layer of cheese. Repeat until you are out of everything, then top off with layer of cheese. Cover and bake at 350ΒΊ on lower rack for about 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Remove top and bake for 10 minutes until cheese on top is browned. Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes and serve.
