Cinnamon Chocolate Marble Cake
Ingredients
16 ounces pound cake mix
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Cinnamon chocolate glaze
1 ounce semi-sweet chocolate
1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 C. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. hot water
Cooking Instructions
Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Prepare cake batter according to package directions; add vanilla. Place about one-third of the batter in medium bowl; stir in melted chocolate. Stir cinnamon into remaining (plain) batter. Pour cinnamon batter into prepared loaf pan; spoon chocolate batter on top. Swirl batter with a knife. Bake in 325 oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan and place on wire rack; cool completely. Drizzle with Cinnamon Chocolate Glaze. Place chocolate and butter in small microwave safe bowl. Microwave on medium for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once until melted. Stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir in hot water until mixture is pourable.
