Chuck Steak
Ingredients
4 to 5 (2 inch) chuck steaks
1/2 C. red wine (Burgundy)
1/3 C. salad oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. thyme
1 clove minced garlic
1 bay leaf
8 peppercorns
Cooking Instructions
Place steak in dish and pour ingredients. Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight, turning several times. Cooking: Place 4 inches from coals. Broil about 15 to 20 minutes on each side (30 minutes). Brush with remaining ingredients.
