Chocolate Texas Sheet Cake
Ingredients
2 C. flour
2 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 C. sour milk (of 1/2 C. milk with tsp. of vinegar added)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Boil on stove and mix with above ingredients:
2 sticks margarine
1 C. water
4 Tbsp. powdered cocoa
Icing:
1 stick margarine
4 Tbsp. powdered cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. chopped walnuts
1 box of confectioners sugar
Cooking Instructions
Hand mix. Pour mixture into greased and floured 9″x13″x1″ baking pan. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes Icing: Boil fist four ingredients and slowly add confectioners sugar, stirring constantly,. Pour over cake while cake is still warm.
