Chili Roasted Peanuts
Ingredients
1 1/2 Tbsp. peanut oil
1/2 Tbsp. crushed chilies
1 Tbsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 C. raw peanuts
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients except the nuts in a baking pan and mix well. Add nuts and toss to mix. Spread nuts in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden, stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking. Serve barely warm or at room temperature. Variation: Try assorted nuts.
