Chicken With Lemon, Tarragon And Asparagus
Ingredients
1 pound frozen boneless chicken breasts
1/4 C. lemon juice
1/4 C. chicken stock
1 tsp. dried tarragon
1 package frozen asparagus
Or fresh asparagus, partially cooked
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 C. heavy or whipping cream
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Put frozen chicken breasts in crock pot and add lemon juice, broth, and tarragon. Cook on low 6 hours. Add asparagus, whisk cream and flour together and add. Cook another hour on high or until asparagus is tender and sauce is thickened. Serve over noodles or rice.
