Chicken Wings
Ingredients
4 C. water
12 oz. soy sauce
1/2 C. vinegar
10 pounds chicken wings
2 oz. barbecue sauce
1/3 C. chili paste with garlic
1/2 C. honey
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. Oriental 5 spice powder
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 bunch green onions chopped
Cooking Instructions
Combine water, soy sauce and vinegar, stir in chicken wings. Marinate chicken wings at least 1 hour. Combine barbecue sauce, chili paste, honey, ginger and five spice powder, stir to blend. Brown wings in oil and water, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place wings in crock pot. Pour barbecue sauce on top and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours. Garnish with green onions.
