Ingredients

Mix
1-1/2 C. cooking oil
2 C. sugar
4 eggs beaten
Sift
3 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
Add
1 tsp. baking soda
3 C. diced peeled apples
1 C. chopped nuts
Sauce
1 tsp. butter
1 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Cooking Instructions

Simmer sauce for 3 minutes, then pour over warm cake. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
