Campers Biscuits
Ingredients
1 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. non-fat dry milk
3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1/4 C. cold water
Cooking Instructions
Stir flour, baking powder, salt, and dry milk together in a bowl. Work the bacon drippings into the flour mixture with the finger tips until it becomes tiny floured granules. Using spoon, gradually dribble in the water to make a soft dough. Mix 30 seconds. Pat dough to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with sharp knife into 2 inch squares. Cluster together and bake in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes or until brown. May be baked in fry pan over campfire coals.
