Brown Sugar Pound Cake
Ingredients
1 pound light brown sugar
1 C. white sugar
5 eggs
3 sticks softened butter (3/4 pound)
3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 C. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. chopped walnuts
Cooking Instructions
Cream first four ingredients. Add fry ingredients alternately with milk, beating well. Add vanilla and nuts and mix well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
