Plum Rum Cake
Ingredients
2 C. flour
2 C. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 C. oil
Two 4-1/2 ounce jars plum baby food
3 Tbsp. dark rum
Glaze:
1 C. icing sugar
2 to 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. dark rum
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan. Sift together dry ingredients. Add eggs and oil and beat at slow speed. Add baby food and rum. Mix well. Bake for 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan. Mix glaze and pour over cake while still warm.
