Cabbage Cacciatore
Ingredients
1 head cabbage
1 lb. hamburger, made into patties
2 cans tomato paste
2 C. water
2 tsp. salt
1 onion, chopped
8 oz. bag mozzarella cheese
Cooking Instructions
Cut the cabbage into quarters and peel the pieces apart to line the bottom of a 9″ x 13″ pan. Brown the hamburger patties in the oven. Drain; place on top of the cabbage. Combine the tomato paste, water and salt. Stir until smooth and pour over hamburgers. Cover with tin foil and bake for 55 minutes at 350ΒΊ. Take foil off and sprinkle cheese on top. Return to oven until cheese is melted. Serve over rice.
