Breaded Pork Chops
Ingredients
4 center cut pork chops
1/2 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. milk
1/2 C. fine dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. shortening
parsley
Cooking Instructions
Dip chops in flour that is mixed with salt and pepper. Mix egg and milk together and dip chops into mixture. Brown chops on all sides in hot shortening. Add water. Cover and cook over low flame for 45 minutes (or until tender).For crisp coating, remove cover for last 15 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
