Amish Cabbage
Ingredients
1/2 lb Bacon
1 head cabbage – Shredded
1 cup chopped onions
dill seed and basil to taste
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
Cooking Instructions
Cut bacon into approximately 1/2 inch pieces. Spray large frying pan with Pam and fry onions, bacon bits, dill seed and basil to taste. Add: cider vinegar, sugar, cabbage. Make just before eating and leave cabbage slightly crisp.
