Ingredients

2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
1 1/2 C. bread flour
3 Tbsp. bread flour
3 Tbsp. rolled oats
1 1/2 C. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3/4 C. water
3/4 C. grated carrots
3/4 C. canned beets, chopped

Cooking Instructions

Add all the ingredients except the carrots and beets in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to manufacturer’s directions. At the beeper (or at the end of the first kneading cycle in the Panasonic or National), add the carrots and beets.
