White Texas Sheet Cake
Ingredients
1 C. butter or margarine
1 tsp. baking soda
1 C. water
Frosting
2 C. flour; all-purpose
1/2 C. butter or margarine
2 C. sugar
1/4 C. milk
2 eggs; beaten
4 1/2 C. confectioners’ sugar
1/2 C. sour cream
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1 C. walnuts; chopped
1 tsp. salt
Cooking Instructions
In a large saucepan, bring butter and water to a boil. Remove from the heat Bake at 375 degrees for 20-22 minutes or until cake is golden brown and test. Meanwhile, for frosting, combine butter and milk in a saucepan.
