Triticale Bread
Ingredients
2 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast (1 1/2 tsp.)
2 1/2 C. bread flour (1 2/3 C.)
1/3 C. soy flour (1/4 C.)
1 C. triticale flour (2/3 C.)
1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar (1 Tbsp.)
1 tsp. salt (3/4 tsp.)
3/4 tsp. fennel seed (1/2 tsp.)
1 1/2 tsp. barley malt syrup (1 tsp.)
3/4 Tbsp. wonderslim (1 Tbsp.)
1 1/4 C. water (3/4 C. plus 2 Tbsp.)
Cooking Instructions
The measurements in the brackets are for the small 1 pound loaf. Add all ingredients in the order suggested by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle according to the manufacturer’s directions.
