The Best Fish Batter
Ingredients
2/3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2/3 C. water
1 lb. fish fillets
Cooking Instructions
Stir flour and salt together. Mix vinegar and baking soda. Combine vinegar mixture and water with flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Enough batter for about 1 pound of fish. Dry the fish very well with paper towels. Dip into batter, fry the fish in grease (375 degrees) about 3 minutes or until brown and crispy.
