Ingredients

1 C. miniature marshmallows
2 C. strawberries in syrup
1 package strawberry gelatin
2-1/4 C. flour
1-1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. shortening
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 C. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

Cooking Instructions

Generously grease bottom only of 13″ x 9″ pan. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom. Thoroughly combine strawberry and syrup with dry gelatin, set aside. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour batter evenly over marshmallows. Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. (Suggestion: Serve warm or cool with ice cream or whipped cream.)
