Steak Genghis Khan
Ingredients
1 (2-3 lb.) sirloin steak, 2 1/2″ thick
2 Tbsp. Roquefort, Gorgonzola or Bleu cheese
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. instant coffee granules
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 C. oil, olive or vegetable
Cooking Instructions
Place steak in large zip-lock bag or deep dish; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients in blender until well blended. Pour over steak; marinate several hours or overnight. Place steak 4″ above coals; cook 20 minutes per side for medium rare.
