Spicy Cider Corned Beef
Ingredients
3 medium onions sliced
1 small cabbage head cut in wedges
1 corned beef brisket 3 to 4 pounds
1 C. apple cider
1/4 C. brown sugar packed
2 tsp. grated orange peel
2 tsp. prepared mustard
6 whole cloves
1 jar spiced apple rings-14 oz.
Cooking Instructions
Place onions and cabbage in crock pot, trim fat from brisket, place meat atop vegetables. Stir together cider, brown sugar, orange peel, mustard and cloves, pour over meat. Cover, cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours. Garnish platter with apple rings.
