Ingredients

1 C. butter
2 C. sugar
1 banana; very ripe or 2 or 3
2 eggs or 3
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Dash salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
3 C. flour
1 pint sour cream
1/3 C. brown sugar; firmly packed
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 C. walnuts; chopped
6 ounces chocolate chips

Cooking Instructions

If 3 bananas are used, add a third egg. Add the dry ingredients and blend thoroughly. Add sour cream or substitute. Pour half the batter into a well-buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Combine the remaining ingredients then sprinkle over batter. Pour the remaining batter over the filling, and sprinkle remaining filling on top. Any extra batter may be used for another cake baked in a round pan. Bake 350 for 45 minutes or until done.
