Sliced Peaches In Lime Rum Sauce
Ingredients
1/3 C. fresh lime juice
2 tsp. dark rum
1 Tbsp. honey plus 1 tsp.
2 Tbsp. water plus 2 tsp.
1/8 tsp. cloves
1-1/4 tsp. cornstarch, or arrowroot powder
2-3/4 tsp. water
2 C. sliced peaches
Cooking Instructions
In a saucepan over medium heat, heat lime juice, rum, honey, and water. Bring to a boil, lower heat; simmer for 5 minutes. Add cloves. Mix together cornstarch, or arrowroot, powder and water. Add to sauce. Add to peaches. Cook for about 10 minutes. Chill and serve in individual dishes.
