Sausage Cake Breakfast Cake
Ingredients
1 lb. pork sausage
3 C. brown sugar
1 egg
3 1/4 C. flour
2 tsp. soda
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 C. strong black coffee
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C. chopped pecans
1/2 C. raisins or dates
Cooking Instructions
Mix sugar and sausage. Add egg and dry ingredients alternating with coffee. Add vanilla and beat well. Add fruit and nuts. Grease and flour tube or bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
