Ingredients

1 lb. chocolate chips, confectioner’s chocolate or bar chocolate
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 C. salted peanuts
2 C. miniature marshmallows

Cooking Instructions

If candy coating is in solid piece, break into squares. Place in single layer in 2 quart casserole with shortening. Microwave at 50 (Medium) 3 to 5 minutes, or until pieces are soft, stirring after 3 minutes. Stir in peanuts, then marshmallows, using as few strokes as possible. Spread on wax paper to 9″ square. Let stand until firm. Cut into 1 1/2″ squares. Total Microwave Time: 5 minutes. Serves: approximately 36 pieces.
