Raspberry Melba Sauce
Ingredients
1 C. raspberries, fresh or frozen
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. cornstarch
6 tsp. sugar, or sugar substitute equal to 6 tsp. sugar
Cooking Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine raspberries and 1 Tbls. of the water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until the berries start to fall apart. Dissolve cornstarch in the rest of the water. Add to berries cook until mixture thickens, about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Strain mixture, and stir in sugar. Serve over any fruit or frozen dietary dessert.
