Pork Barbecue
Ingredients
5 pound. pork loin
4 celery ribs
2 onions
1 green pepper
16 ounce. tomato sauce
1 1/2 C. brown sugar
3 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
4 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Cooking Instructions
Boil pork loin until done. Cool; shred from bone, set aside. Chop celery, onions and green pepper; Saute in butter until tender. In Dutch oven, combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, garlic salt and cider vinegar. Cook on low, stirring until it begins to thicken. Add sauteed vegetables, pork loin, salt and pepper to taste; simmer 1 1/2 hours.
