Pea Soup
Ingredients
1/2 C. split peas, dried
1/4 C. barley, raw
6 C. water
1 C. potato, diced
1 C. onions, chopped
1 C. cabbage, shredded
1 celery stalk, diced
1 C. carrots, diced
bay leaf, basil, tarragon,
pepper, to taste
Cooking Instructions
In a large pot combine water, lentils and barley. Cook for 1 hour. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook another 30 minutes.
