Ingredients

1 package dry yeast
1/8 C. warm water
1/2 C. sugar
1/4 C. liquid shortening
1 egg; beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. hot scalded milk

Cooking Instructions

Put in yeast, water and sugar first, then all other ingredients, except add the scalded milk last so as not to kill the yeast. Set on light.
