Fresh Squash And Onion
Ingredients
2 lb. squash, yellow
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
dash sugar, or sugar substitute
1/2 C. water
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Cooking Instructions
Wash squash and cut into 1-1/2 inch slices. Place in saucepan with onion, salt, and sugar. Add 1/2 C. water. Cover tightly and steam about 10 minutes. Add butter and stir gently.
