Flank Steak Extraordinaire
Ingredients
1 flank steak
3/4 C. oil
1/4 C. soy sauce
1/4 C. honey
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Cooking Instructions
Place steak in a shallow baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour over steak and marinate in refrigerator 4 hours, turning occasionally. Remove from marinade and reserve marinade for basting. Grill 5 inches from hot coals, about 4 minutes on each side for rare, 5-6 minutes for medium. Turn frequently and baste with marinade. Slice across grain into thin slices and enjoy.
