Ingredients

2 C. sugar
2 C. water
3 Tbsp. lard
1 pound raisins
Boil these ingredients in a saucepan, then add
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 C. flour

Cooking Instructions

Mix well and place in a well-greased 9 x 9 1/2 inch square pan. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until done.
