Curry Crackers
Ingredients
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 Tbsp. onion, minced finely
1 tsp. garlic, pressed
3/4 tsp. grated ginger
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. coriander
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. cayenne
2 C. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 C. water, approximately
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt margarine in a small frying pan. Add onion, garlic and ginger and Saute until the onion is translucent. Add spices and stir fry for 1 minute. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add spice mixture and blend well. Slowly add as much water as is needed to make a dough. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and roll out to 1/16 thickness. Cut into 2 shapes and prick with a fork. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until crisp. Cool on wire racks. Serve with dips.
