Coconut Pound Cake
Ingredients
3 C. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 C. vegetable shortening
1 C. coconut
1 tsp. baking powder
1 C. milk
2 1/2 C. sugar
5 eggs
1 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
Cooking Instructions
Mix well. Pour into a floured and greased tube pan. Place in cold oven and bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325. This means do not preheat the oven.
