Chorizo Homemade Sausage
Ingredients
5 pound(s) fresh pork
5 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 clove garlic, mashed
5 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 C.(s) paprika
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. oregano
3/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 C.(s) dry wine
Cooking Instructions
With electric food grinder, coarsely grind pork. Add all of the above ingredients and with hands, mix together until well blended in. With meat press, press into thin patties. Freeze in handi-wrap and scott wax paper until ready to use. In covered fry pan, cook for 20 minutes, turning over every 5 minutes.
