Chicken Teriyaki
Ingredients
2 whole chicken breasts, halved
1/2 C. soy sauce
1/4 C. dry sherry
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 garlic clove, chopped
1/2 tsp. ginger
Cooking Instructions
Arrange chicken, skin side up, in a single layer in a shallow dish. Combine soy sauce, sherry, sugar, garlic and ginger; pour over chicken. Marinate in refrigerator, turning once or twice, for 2 hours. Preheat broiler. Remove chicken from marinade. Spray rack in broiler pan with vegetable spray; place chicken on rack. Broil 5-1/2 inches from heat, turning once and basting with marinade, for about 10 minutes.
