Bulghur Wheat
Ingredients
2/3 C. water
1/3 C. bulghur wheat
2 Tbsp. cashews
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. milk, or yogurt, low fat
1 banana, sliced
Cooking Instructions
Bring to a boil in a small saucepan water and bulghur wheat. Simmer, covered, until liquid is absorbed. Blend cashews to a fine powder in a blender. Add vanilla and blend again. Pour milk, or yogurt, over wheat, and cook 5 minutes more. Add banana when ready to serve.
