Brown Rice
Ingredients
3/4 C. water
1/3 C. brown rice
2 figs, chopped
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 C. milk, or yogurt, low fat
Cooking Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring water and rice to a boil. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Add figs and nutmeg. Serve in a small bowl with milk or yogurt.
