Ingredients

6 ounces unsalted butter, very soft
3 extra large eggs
1/3 C. water
1 Tbsp. finely grated orange rind or 1 tsp. orange oil
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 C. sugar
1/4 tsp. ascorbic acid
3 Tbsp. powdered buttermilk
3 C. unbleached white flour plus 1 or 2 additional Tbsp. if the dough is still very sticky after the first 5 minutes of kneading
1 Tbsp. yeast
3/4 C. dried strawberries, whole

Cooking Instructions

Place all the ingredients except strawberries in the machine. Program for basic white bread, sweet bread, or raisin bread and press start. Add the strawberries during the last 5 minutes of the final knead cycle, or when the beeper sounds.
