Barbecued Mullet
Ingredients
2 lbs. mullet, cut down the back
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. grated onion
1/4 C. French dressing
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Dash pepper
Cooking Instructions
Combine all ingredients except the mullet. Mix well and pour over mullet in a flat pan and cover; let set about an hour. Have coals hot to a gray color. Baste mullet with sauce and place on grill. Cook 5 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Makes 6 servings.
