Baked Stuffed Tomatoes
Ingredients
6 large tomatoes
1 C. bread crumbs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1 egg, well beaten
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. parsley
pepper
Cooking Instructions
Cut center out of tomatoes. Mix the rest of the ingredients and fill the tomatoes with the mixture. Place tomatoes on a baking sheet, filled side up. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Note: A tsp. of sugar in the bottom of each tomato improves the flavor.
