Best Stewed Tomatoes
Ingredients
3 C. canned tomatoes, undrained, cut into chunks
1/2 C. celery, minced
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1 Tbsp. onion flakes, minced
1/2 tsp. salt, to taste
2 tsp. margarine
2 tsp. sugar, or sugar substitute
1 dash pepper
Cooking Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cover and cook over medium-low heat until celery is tender, about 10 minutes. Stir frequently while cooking.
