Beefburgers Hawaiian
Ingredients
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 C. salad oil
1/4 C. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. catsup
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can (13 1/2 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained
6 slices bacon
Cooking Instructions
Mix garlic, salad oil, soy sauce, catsup, vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix thoroughly meat, salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Shape into 6 patties; press 5 or 6 pineapple tidbits into each. Place patties in glass dish; pour oil mixture over patties. Cover; refrigerate 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove patties from marinade. Wrap bacon slice around each patty; secure with wooden picks. Place patties on rack in broiler pan. Set oven control at broil and/or 550 degrees. Broil 5 inches from heat 12 to 15 minutes, turning once. Or cook on hibachi over hot coals 8 to 10 minutes on each side. 6 servings.
