Baked Chicken With Rice
Ingredients
1 C. uncooked rice
1 package onion soup mix, divided
6 chicken breast halves, skin removed
10-3/4 ounces canned cream of mushroom soup
1-1/2 C. water
1/8 tsp. pepper
Cooking Instructions
Spread rice evenly in bottom of a 9 by 9 by 2 nonstick baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/4 onion soup mix. Place chicken on top of rice. Add remaining onion soup mix. Combine mushroom soup, water and pepper. Pour soup mixture over chicken. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees F. for 2 hours. Remove foil and serve.
