Apple Stuffed Pork Chops
Ingredients
1 C. croutons
1/2 C. apple peeled, seeded, minced
1/2 C. cheddar cheese finely grated
2 Tbsp. golden raisins seedless
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp. fresh orange juice strained
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter melted
6 each pork chop 2-inch thick
1/2 tsp. salt to taste
1/4 tsp. white pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Combine croutons, apples, cheese, raisins, 1/4 tsp. salt, and cinnamon-mix well. Add orange juice and butter-mix well. Cut a pocket into each of the pork chops. Season the pockets of each with salt and pepper. Spoon stuffing mixture into the pockets of the chops. Place into a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Cover with foil bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
