Ingredients

1 stick oleo
3/4 C. white sugar
3/4 C. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
2 C. flour
4 C. apples; chopped
1 C. raisins; coconut or nuts, optional

Cooking Instructions

Mix first 5 ingredients and beat well. Add next four ingredients and mix well. Add flour and mix. Gently stir in apples and any optional ingredients. Oil and dust with sugar a 9 x 13 cake pan. Pour in cake mix and bake at 350 for 45-50 minute till apples are tender.
