Mexicali Chicken
Ingredients
5 skinned, boneless chicken breasts
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
5 Tbsp. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 bottle chunky salsa
1/2 C. water
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 C. instant minced onion
Pam cooking spray
Cooking Instructions
Brown chicken breasts quickly, in 2 sprays of Pam. Set aside. Mix together remaining ingredients except cheese. Pour over chicken placed in single layer in baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 400 covered for 20 minutes. Remove cover and bake for 20 minutes more.
