Mrs Butterworth Syrup
Ingredients
1/8 tsp. salt
2 1/2 C. water
1 C. packed brown sugar
3 C. granulated sugar
1/4 C. light corn syrup
1 tsp. maple flavoring
Cooking Instructions
In a 2 1/2 quart saucepan combine first 5 ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil gently 3 minutes. Cook on gentle simmer without stirring 12 minutes. Add maple flavoring. Remove from heat. Cool and keep refrigerated. Makes 1 quart.
