Salsa Marinated Chuck Steak
Ingredients
1 lb. beef chuck steak, 1″ thick
1/2 C. med. salsa
1/3 C. fresh lime juice
2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
Cooking Instructions
Combine salsa, lime juice, hoisin sauce and ginger. Place steak in plastic bag. Add marinade, turning to coat. Close bag securely or cover dish and marinate in refrigerator 6 to 8 hours or overnight, turning at least once. Pour off marinade; reserve. Broil steak on grid over medium coals, turning once. Broil 14 minutes for rare, 20 minutes for medium. Care steak into thin slices. Serves 4.
