Simple Salisbury Steak
Ingredients
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb. hamburger
1/3 C. bread crumbs, dry
1 egg, beaten
1/4 C. chopped onion
1 1/2 C. sliced mushrooms
Cooking Instructions
In bowl mix together 1/4 cup soup, beef, crumbs, egg and onion. Shape into 6 patties. In a skillet, over medium heat, brown patties on both sides. Spoon off fat. Remove meat from pan. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms, stirring together. Return meat to sauce mixture; reduce heat to low, cover pan and simmer 20 minutes more. Turn meat at least once.
